This day of the year is always hard, but I feel I've made a reasonable attempt to remember you as the strong willed, happy person you were. Instead of crying by myself I decided to get my university housemates to play a game of Irish snap with me. I could tell you were helping me Kara as I won for once! You were always better at cards than me, especially with your killer nails. In all seriousness though I still think of you every day and hope that one day I might be able to face up to life with a huge smile on my face even when the world tries to trip me up, the way you did. I pray that we will always look to this day as a celebration of your life rather than something gloomy and depressing.
